Thanks! Didn't know refertilizer would respawn stone and rocks as well. You just have to decide if you are willing to wait 10 minutes plus for the game to load. The -preventhibernation launch code corrects issues with dinos not spawning in. After several minutes I can come back and respawn it, but it is easier to do it the other way. I found that if I keep harvesting the same rock or tree over and over, it eventually stops respawning. There are a few things I do which can help.Ģ - add the launch code -preventhibernation, although it will significantly increase the load timeģ - use refertilizer after harvesting a tree or rock, spawn code is cheat giveitemnum 386 20 0 0Įvery time I harvest a rock or tree I use the refertilizer and then move on to the next resource. If you log out before the resource respawns, it won't respawn. Originally posted by eshamek:There is a known problem with single player games. I don't know anything about codes and stuff but thanks for the help and info! Also there is a "refertilizer" item you can craft to respawn things as well.Īdditionally, in single player you may want to adjust the respawn timer to be alot higher in settings perhaps as if you leave your game, things to respawn while you're gone(think a game pause if you will).Īlso sometimes if you leave rendering distance/subzone for a few min and come back it can trigger cause somethings to respawn that may have had a longer timer otherwise(dinos are easiest to see with this.)Īll in all though, its a line of thinking to build your base/structures not too near important resources(this also includes certain dino spawn points too as they are a resource afterall). In single player you can increase or reduce this radius via settings. This is meant to prevent trees and rocks from respawning inside your building etc. Originally posted by retsam1:There is a no respawn radius around many building pieces once placed.
